Gatwick Caravan & Motorhome Club Site
We wanted to make sure that all was working in Bill before venturing too far, so we decided to take her out of storage at Gatwick C&MHC site, hire a pitch and 'camp' on site. This enabled us to pop home for all the things we'd forgotten or couldn't get in the car - as it happens we only forgot pillowcases. Like every other van, Bill's outside was disgusting but we're going to sort that out next weekend. Inside was a little dusty but otherwise lovely and clean, all was working so it was an easy weekend all round. There was some noise from the (very) nearby airport but you get used to it. Great site for a two night stay.
We've bought a new car to tow with and I actually towed the van from the pitch to the storage and had a go at reversing!
We didn't take any photos, but I did do a little crafting. Here's a card that I've nearly finished.
Next trip - East Horsley with our lovely friends Derek & Irene - can't wait!
